A lower engine temperature followed. The explanation of this phenomenon is the use of a special aluminum alloy which has a very good heat transference. These lightweight carbon covers fit over the frame and it is designed to protect against scratches and damage to the frame in the event of an accident. It has a layer of carbon/Kevlar inside for abrasion resistance.

This lightweight aluminium subframe weighs less than 1.2 kg and replaces the stock item when used as part of the MC18 GP-T seat kit. Essential for mounting the seat cowl, this component is supplied with all brackets and mounting points to substitute this for the OEM Honda item. Composed of extrusions and CNC machined sections, handwelded together by craftsman, this subframe is then blasted and anodized for a tough and attractive finish.

CNC machined from solid billet, these flip up type levers are made to a very high standard and are adjustable for reach and length.

Kit, Fairing Set, GRP, (Race) MC21, MC28, NSR250V

Modelled closely from the front fairing set taken off an actual NSR500V HRC factory machine, this kit has been designed to faithfully reproduce the appearance and silhouette of the NSR500V but to allow it to fit the NSR250 with correct mounting points and clearances. This fairing set can be installed with both the MC28 and the MC21, (and possibly the MC18, though we have not tried that model).

The set consists of the parts shown below All special mounting hardware and windscreen is provided. Note, you do not need to change the meter stay for either the MC21 or MC28 models to install this fairing which bolts to the stock meter and rear frame spar side stay and lower stay locations with all hardware provided.

The fairing can be used with stock and all TYGA exhaust systems including use with the specially designed 250V exhaust system EXCS-0047

We recommend installing this fairing set with seat set BPFS-0198 on the NSR250 to complete the NSR250V bodywork style. For a complete transformation of the whole bike, we also recommend exhaust system EXCS-0047 and EXSL-0083 or EXSL-0084.

This pair of stays replaces the stock rear passenger peg hangers and is required to mount the Tyga Exhaust system EXCS-0003 on the 1988 MC18. Not suitable or required for the 1989 version with the flip down passenger pegs.

Made from high TG resin and 2/2 weave twill carbon cloth, this replacement tube is suitable for the following TYGA Performance exhaust silencers. It is also suitable for other manufacturers’ silencers of the same dimensions. See below for exact specifications
