TYGA/KITACO Power Up Kit, Carbon Type

This power up kit is designed to give a significant power boost over stock. Using TYGA Performance and KITACO products, the power of the MSX125 Grom is increased by 25%. Below is the dyno graph. STD vs our full system with carbon silencer, Kitaco type 2 camshaft, i-map (setting #3). Similar results were found with the Moto Maggot and stainess type silencers.

Description:

Fitting this Power Up Kit to your Honda MSX125/GROM gives a significant increase in top end performance and over rev. Peak hp is moved from 7,000rpm (std) up to 8,000rpm, with a 1.6hp gain at peak.

Fitting the i-Map Fuel Injection Controller is a necessary modification to avoid the engine running lean and being damaged. Running the KITACO Type 2 camshaft without the i-Map is NOT an option!

The i-Map is shipped with “setting #3” activated. This is the basic map for this kit, but the map can be modified using the optional i-Map interface cable and software downloadable from the KITACO website:

Fully adjustable, digital temperature control allows you to set your tyre temperatures to suit every situation with just a press of a button. The remote control box allows for quick and easy monitoring of temperatures.

Tyre warmers are an essential tool for any track excursion. For the racer it allows for lightening first lap action to get the jump on your competitor, and for the track day specialist there’s no more wasted laps trying to get heat into your tyres.

Another great feature is that you can refit the warmers between session and just set at a lower temperature to stop your tyres heat cycling . This gives you more tyre grip for longer, so your tyre won’t go off half way through the day.

These wamers are designed for Superbikes running the usual 120 front tyre, and 190-200 section rear tyre.

TYGA tyre warmers are designed to run on 220V, and use a C type plug. Power rating is 550W rear and 450W front.

CNC machined TYGA triple clamp set for your NSR250 MC28.

These stylish, all aluminium triple clamps are a direct replacement for the MC28 triple clamps, and with the help of FEA testing not only do they look fanstastic, but they perform!

They are delivered ready to fit with all necessary bearings and bottom seal, and even an aluminium top clamp nut, to complete the transformation. The top clamp has the ‘bolt-on’ key holder fitted, which can be removed for racing.

The Steering stoppers are reversible, giving maximum steering lock for street application, or a reduced angle for racing.

Designed and CNC machined in house by TYGA from aircraft spec 6061-T6 alloy.

Tightening recommendations:

Lower clamp pinch bolts: 23Nm.

Top clamp pinch bolts: 23Nm.

Lower cowling Gp2010, Honda NSR250 MC21/MC28

This product is almost identical to BPFL-9014, just wider lip to match the upper BPFU-9005.

Modelled on the RSW GP race bike design and adapted to fit the NSR250, this lower cowling represents the ultimate in fairing design for the NSR. Keeping the width to an absolute minimum, the design gives maximum clearance with the track at high angles of lean. Other features include a vent underneath and improved design giving excellent finish both inside and out. Weight is now only approx. 1 kg but strength retained using a lip around the edge.

It is supplied with spacers to place between fairing and rear lower mounts to ensure clearance with exhaust chambers.

Compatible products:

This product must be used with BPFU-9005 but can also be used with BPFU-9012 and BPFU-9022.

This lower cowling is designed to be used with stock or race exhaust systems though some spacing may be necessary to get clearance with chambers:

1. stock systems, fit with no spacing but will need a small part of the indent on the lower vent removed to clear the chamber. We can modify the lower to fit the stock chambers if requested

2. Tyga chambers require some spacing but no cutting. On some systems (particularly MC28) no spacing is necessary

3. Other systems, can not advise, but should require only spacing or possibly cutting of front of lower where front cylinder header exits.
